Regardless of the activity, successful athletes/performers say that when that when they are performing at their best they are totally involved in whatever confronts them ... they are with what is.
A performers effectiveness is directly related to the ability to be right there, doing that thing, in the moment. All preparation a performer may have put into the game, all the game plans, analysis of moves etc ... is no good if the performer cannot put this into action at game or performance time.
They cannot be worrying about the past or the future or the crowd or some other extraneous event.
A performer must be able to respond in the here and now. To be with what is. Can you be with what is?
